Detroit Film Critics Society Awards 2012

December 17th, 2012 - Graham Eley

‘Silver Linings Playbook’ picked-up its first best film win of the winter at the Detroit Film Critics Society’s awards.  Its success ran into other categories with David O. Russell’s comedy drama also taking best director, screenplay, actress (Jennifer Lawrence) and supporting actor (Robert DeNiro).  Predictably, Steven Spielberg’s ‘Lincoln’ took best actor (Daniel Day-Lewis) and best ensemble.
