Las Vegas Film Critics Society 2012

December 13th, 2012 - Graham Eley

There are signs that Ang Lee’s ‘Life of Pi’ is becoming more of a presence in the awards season and the Las Vegas Film Critics Society gave the adventure drama a further boost by awarding it six awards, including best film, director and cinematography.  Not for the first time during this year’s awards season, Steven Spielberg’s ‘Lincoln’ picked-up best actor (Daniel Day-Lewis) and supporting actor (Tommy Lee Jones).  Rian Johnson’s ‘Looper’ was an interesting winner of best screenplay, the one area where it has a shot at an Oscar nomination.
