San Francisco Film Critics Circle 2012

Paul Thomas Anderson’s ‘The Master’ had an awards season boost receiving best film and actor (Joaquin Phoenix) honours from the San Francisco Film Critics Circle.  ‘Zero Dark Thirty’, which dominated the early critics’ awards, picked up a best director (Kathryn Bigelow) and original screenplay double.  Emmanuelle Riva won another best actress award for her performance in ‘Amour’.
