December 17th, 2012 - Graham Eley

‘Argo’ continued to gain momentum in the various critics’ awards when Southeastern honoured Ben Affleck’s third feature with best film, director and adapted screenplay.  The overall front runner during the critics’ awards, Kathryn Bigelow’s ‘Zero Dark Thirty’, had to settle for runner-up in the best film, director, actress and original screenplay categories.  ‘The Queen of Versailles’ pipped ‘Bully’ for best documentary.  GE 17 December 2012
