‘Transformers 4’ heading for easy win
‘Transformers: Age Of Extinction’ will be the first film since ‘Captain America 2’ to retain the No.1 position at the North American weekend box office but there is little by way of competition.
Michael Bay’s latest tentpole grossed a so-so $11m on Friday, increasing its tally to $28.3m since the five-day holiday session got under way on Wednesday. This should translate to $40m for the Friday-Sunday period being a week on week 56% fall (after stripping out Thursday night previews) and $55m for the full five days.
Warner Bros’ Melissa McCarthy comedy vehicle, ‘Tammy’ has disappointed with a soft $18.05m since its Wednesday launch. Negative word-of-mouth has taken its toll after lousy reviews – 28% on RT – and a poor audience ‘C+’ CinemaScore and the film is heading for $20m and $31m three and five day totals, being $4m+ below market expectations.
There has been a close battle between the other two weekend wide releases for the third spot. The $30m horror thriller ‘Deliver Us From Evil’ has edged it so far but Dave Green’s debut feature, ‘Earth To Echo’ is likely to be less front loaded and has an ‘A-’ CinemaScore against its rival’s ‘B-’. Both films have grossed just under $8m since Wednesday and they should finish around the $10m and $15m marks for the two periods.how to buy cialis online uk buy cheap cialis online australia buy cialis china cialis quick delivery uk will cialis go generic cialis online amazon buy cialis at walmart
