‘After Earth’ wins close battle

M. Night Shyamalan’s ‘After Earth’ narrowly won the international weekend box office on the back of a wide expansion to over 60 territories following last week’s South Korea debut.  The high budget sci-fi action adventure, starring father and son Will and Jaden Smith, grossed $45.8m over the three days with Russia being its most successful market on $8.2m.  Taking into account the scale of the release, it was at best only an average return for Sony.

Universal’s ‘Fast & Furious 6’ earned a strong $43.2m in second place, taking its overally internationally tally to $380.6m.  The car action thriller is on course to become the most successful international film of the franchise by next weekend.

Elsewhere, the weekend witnessed ‘Iron Man 3’ crossing the $800m international milestone.buy domperidone new zealandmotilium cheappurchase motiliummotilium buy uk
