International box office (April 5-7, 2013)

‘G.I. Joe: Retaliation’, starring Channing Tatum and Dwayne Johnson, retained its No. 1 spot at the international weekend box office after grossing a strong $40.2m.  Paramount’s action adventure was active in 60 markets in total with South Korea delivering the highest return of  $3.7m.  It currently stands at $145.2m internationally after two weeks.


DreamWorks’ 3D animation, ‘The Croods’, continued its impressive international run, adding a further $34.1m over the three days.  The prehistoric adventure screened in two more territories than ‘G.I.
