International box office (February 8-10, 2013)

Quentin Tarantino’s ‘Django Unchained’ retained its top position at the international weekend box office after grossing $18.7m from 65 markets.  Germany was again the controversial Western’s most successful territory where it returned a further $3.9m after four weekends in play.  It has now taken an impressive $187.1m internationally.

 

Fox International’s ‘A Good Day To Die Hard’, starring Bruce Willis, opened in seven markets for $10.1m.  The action thriller scored highest in South Korea with a strong $4.2m over the three days.
